Overview

JOB SUMMARY:

Support the Communications and Marketing Department Director by creating/updating existing print and digital booklets, brochures, fliers, ads, cards, etc. Able to prep print jobs correctly for release to printer. Create requests for printer quotes and track production schedules and proofs internally and externally. Maintain organization of shared server. Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously, and keep up-to-date jobs log. Ensure brand consistency across all projects based on the ATS brand standards and guidelines.

 

Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities include:

  • Create/update print and electronic mid-level projects (i.e. booklets, brochures, posters, etc.) and quick turn-around projects (e.g., electronic ads, fliers, postcards, PowerPoint presentations, Word templates, etc.).              
  • Track communications and marketing job progress internally and externally — including proofing in-house proof stages, printer proof stages and shipping. Inform other members of the staff of approaching deadlines. Keep jobs log. Develop and seek bids on projects involving vendors. Submit invoices and track payment for completed jobs.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • 5+ years’ experience in production (print and electronic).
  • Ability to thrive under the pressure of multiple deadlines.
  • Skilled in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint on Macintosh platform.
  • Experience with digital and print specifications and printing processes.
  • Ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with a broad array of employees and outside parties.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Fast, organized, responsible, flexible, collegial.
